Terms of use
Last updated 2026-10-17.
By using EV Deal Check, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Information only
- The site gives general information about used electric car batteries. It is not financial, legal or mechanical advice, and it is not a valuation of any car.
- It checks battery value, not whether a price is fair for the market.
- Verdicts and figures are estimates from published data and our own assumptions (see the methodology). A real car can be better or worse.
Check the car yourself
Before you buy, check the car itself: ask for a battery health report, check its recall record (for example by VIN on nhtsa.gov in the US, or with the maker in the UK), check the warranty start date, and get an inspection. You make your own decision.
Accuracy
We work to keep the data correct and show a source and checked date for every figure. Sources can be wrong or go out of date, and we can make mistakes. The site is provided "as is", without any warranty.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its information, including the cost of buying or repairing a car. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law says cannot be limited.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, including the sources of our data. We do not control them and are not responsible for them. Some links may pay us if you buy something. Each paid link says so next to it, and payment never changes a verdict.
Using our content
You can link to any page and quote short parts with a link back. Data from other sources stays under its own licence (see sources).
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States. If you live in the UK, you also keep the protections of the law where you live.
